Fish, Birds, and Animals

Today's Bible story

From Genesis 1:20-25

On the fifth day, God said, "Let the waters be full of living creatures, and let birds fly in the sky." So God made great whales and every kind of fish that swims in the sea. He made every kind of bird with wings to fly. God saw that it was good. God blessed them. He told them to have babies and fill the seas and the sky. On the sixth day, God said, "Let the earth bring out living creatures." So God made animals of every kind. He made cattle, like cows. He made creeping things, like bugs and lizards. He made wild animals too. Think of all the animals you know: dogs, cats, horses, elephants, giraffes, ants, and butterflies. God thought of every one of them! He made them all different. Some are big, and some are tiny. Some are fast, and some are slow. God saw that it was good. When you see an animal, you can thank God for making it.
